Eugene was born on June 30, 1934 to the late Coleman and Hattie McNutt. Eugene later relocated in Black Fish, AR where he met the love of his life Mazzie. According to him, he met his leading lady while he was driving a tractor and he stopped to ask her for a drink of water. He later married Mazzie and into this union of 60 years, 10 children were born.
Eugene was a very hard worker. During his life, he was employed by the Forrest City Cotton Gin and worked on a local farm as a farmer.
Eugene loved having fun, and he enjoyed making others laugh with his jokes. It was always fun and laughter when he was around. He loved listening to blues and was very blunt to anyone he came in contact with. He was always willing to help others willing to help others in need especially his grandchildren.
Eugene departed this August 30, 2017 at 7:15 a.m.. He was preceded in death by wife, Mazzie McNutt, parents, Coleman and Hattie McNutt, sons, Eugene and Larry McNutt, son in law, L.C. King Jr., brothers, Robert Lee, Jo Willie, William (Will) McNutt, sisters, Jo Ann McNutt and Carolyn Dawson, 6 grandchildren, Henry Jr, Adam, Randy, and Carl McNutt, Shaunte Walker, and Emarion Allen.
