Edward Glenn Hargraves was born March 18, 1953 in Dansby, Arkansas to the J.T. Hargraves and Mable Lewellen Hargraves.
Edward accepted Christ at an early age at Taylor Chapel in Dansby, Arkansas. Edward was employed at Harrell Farms for 17 years, Forrest City Machine Shop for 31 years, and Boar’s Head for 6 years.
Edward had a passion for fishing and hunting with his sons, brothers, and nephews. Edward and Evelyn met in the seventh grade. Edward and Evelyn was united in holy matrimony on August 17, 1973.
Edward is preceded in death by his father, Mother, Sister Martha, Brother Robbie, Nephew Bernard.
Edward leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife of 44 years Evelyn Hargraves, five children, Jackie Hargraves, Eric Hargraves and Edward Hargraves Jr. of Gueless, TX. Keith Hargrves of Arlington, TX. and Deloris Howell of Plang, TX. Edward had 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Sisters Rose Johnson and Debra Ford of Forrest City, AR, Earnece “Tony” Walker and Claudia Palmer of St. Louis, MO, Bobbie “Larry” Moseley Louisville, KY, Joann “Joe Lee” Taylor of Desoto, TX, and Heniretta “Bert” Keateh of Allen, TX, Brothers Horace “Laura” Hargraves of Compton, CA, J.T. Hargraves Jr., and Kenneth “Carol” Hargraves of Detroit, MI and Ulysses “Edna” Hargraves of Marianna, AR a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Edward also leaves a special friend James Caffey.
